Alexandra

I started playing poker in Uni, about 5y ago. In 2020 I started taking it seriously, played online, got coaching from high-stakes players and jumped from microstakes to 500NL which is what I mostly play today. My approach to poker is theory based and I do have strong theoretical foundations. In order to build strategies i rely on both solvers and MDA as i think its essential to understand both theoretically optimal play as well as where real opponents are making mistakes in order to capture the most money possible. I graduated Psychology, and I also provide mental coaching for poker players.

I started taking poker seriously over lockdown and since then have gone on to play and coach full time, I really enjoy coaching and love seeing students progress through the stakes. Having been coached personally by players who play up to 5knl online i aim to be there one day myself too. I'm currently playing around 200nl as my average stake but hoping to make the transition to 500nl as my main stake over the coming months.

This year, we both became coaches for RunItOnce, the biggest poker training site, for which we regularly upload training videos. You can sign up to RunItOnce and see some of our training videos here: http://www.runitonce.com/a/FNCpoker/

We are also regularly hosting coaching streams on RunItOnce YouTube Channel, which you can check out for free.

What People Are Saying About Our Program

"I had a blast with this program! These were three intense weeks, but well worth the effort. We've covered a wide variety of topics, from variance and game selection to the theory behind common spots and how to deviate from it.

One thing that I think will especially improve my results is the emphasis that was put on playing spots that are very common against recreationals: facing donks, playing limped pots, isolating... These topics are often overlooked, but as we've been taught in the course there is so much winrate to be gained there!

The coaches definitely know what they're talking about. They're also super helpful, available, and dedicated to your getting the most out of the program. The tasks we are asked to complete are a great way to ensure we are properly assimilating the content, and the live calls are there to reinforce everything we learn and get detailed answers to any questions we might have.

In short, I highly recommend this program to any serious player stuck in low stakes. If there's ever a Grade 2 I'll be signing up right away!"

"I am very happy to endorse Alexandra and Paul's Mentorship course.

The course content was very eye-opening. The coaches provide a lot of information on both exploiting opponents and the core ideas of GTO play. I have a far stronger understanding of the game than I did just three weeks ago, and I started seeing improvements in my game immediately.

I also like the course set up. It was a great idea to create a course for a small group of students to go through together. This allows you to get plenty of individual feedback, but also learn from the questions your fellow students raise and the responses they receive."
